This two-day course introduces oil spill response personnel and other stakeholders to the complexities of integrating wildlife response into the overall incident response. Participants will use the information provided to explore a wildlife scenario and consider a variety of alternative strategies during a tabletop exercise.
The course also includes a visit the the Wildlife Centre Ostend, a facility that routinely cares for more than 3000 non-oil related wildlife cases in addition to being a key response, training and rehabilitation centre for oiled birds.
